This bioethanol is a very clean-burning fuel that produces a beautiful, yellow flame. When used in combination with a bio-ethanol burner with a ceramic stone, it offers the safest combustion. Denatured alcohol (ethanol) is alcohol that has been made unfit for consumption. The natural balance in pure bio-ethanol is 98% alcohol and 2% water. After it is rendered unfit for consumption (denatured), this percentage is a maximum of 97%. This is the purest form of bio-ethanol. The alcohol content in CL100 fluctuates between 96% and 97%.​ 

This bioethanol produces a yellow flame, unlike ethanol. Bioethanol of pure origin has a longer burning time and produces a higher flame.
