Fossil stone is a porous, living limestone in which natural fossils such as shells and coral are clearly visible. After extraction, the stone is sawn into blocks and then processed into small tiles.

In the workshop, these stones are placed by hand onto specially made molds of wood and fiberglass. Each surround is then carefully sanded and finished. This artisanal process ensures that:
